Help your Library thrive by Giving
There are many ways of giving that will help the library:
Make an annual donation to the library at P.O. Box 186, Plainfield, VT 05667, or use the Donate button above.
Be a part of a vibrant team of volunteers at the library.
Adopt an Author and sponsor the purchase of new release titles by your favorite author.
If you shop on Amazon, consider using Amazon Smile and selecting the Cutler as your charity of choice. The functionality when using Amazon is the same, but Amazon Smile donates $$ to the library with every purchase.
Provide a professional service, such as carpentry, electrical work, website design, graphic design, gardening, storytelling, or cleaning.
Adopt an expense, such as the monthly electric or phone bill.
Purchase Cutler Memorial Library-themed gifts from ZAZZLE!
Remember the library in your will.
Book Donations
We partially support our library through an annual book sale organized by the Friends of the Library. We are grateful for your donations. However, to sell books, they must be in good condition; otherwise, considerable time is spent disposing of non-readable books instead of being your librarian. Please do NOT donate any of the following:
Dirty, moldy, smelly, burnt, or wet books.
Books with torn covers or missing covers.
Catalogs or magazines
AAA Travel Guides or maps
Reader’s Digest condensed books
Textbooks
Children’s encyclopedias
Encyclopedia yearbooks
General encyclopedias, published after 1920
8 track tapes, cassette tapes, VHS tapes
Please phone the library to set a time to drop off your donations. We do not accept donations if there is snow on the ground unless the books you wish to donate have been published within the last year. Thank you!
